Moving in blues

After a good 3 months of moving in blues, ranging from sloppy painting to scratched floors, broken cupboards and wobbly doors, the Swedish Family Wilkinson seems to be nesting quite well and we are currently pulling what remains of our hair out to try to decorate the place. Not decorate it with my hair, but that would be a step further on than we are. Open plan living is indeed a hard road to travel for us rookies in the decorating game. It starts and finishes as a sort of crazy gambling scenario where you want to bet all your money on a good hand and win the good stuff but alas you must get rid of all your crappy cards first...and to get rid of all your crappy cards first means you will have nothing in the apartment. Oh and by the way if you thought just getting rid of the things you don't want for free was easy, think again. So if anyone would like an old bookshelf unit or a round pine table with 4 chairs absolutely free? contact the labourer in the photo and he'll put you straight!

An amazing 9 weeks

WOW! How did we get to 9 weeks old so quickly? The weeman has been through so much already. Needless to say he is a smiling, cheeky bundle of joy. He is so happy and is making so much progress. Sara is home with him and she is just the absolute best mother and wife! She is far surpassing any expectations and images I had of her as a mother. I think the little 'un's great start in this world is entirely down to her.  The two of them have such busy schedules most days especially if you include the hours and hours of walking they do. Christmas creativity beckons. Watch this space for a little name celebration film.

The Eye of the Tiger

Dear all, 

It seems as though we have not written on this blog for such a long time. So much has been happening and we somehow seem to have so little time on our hands. The wee man is doing well although as the previous post suggests, he is still nameless. Now, Sara is quite impressed by his ability to latch onto the breast, in fact his whole demeanour changes and his face becomes concentrated. He looks like a little tiger about to pounce on his prey. Before you suggest it, we have thought about Tiger as a name but it's a little too different for us!
